* EleBBS Support List

Hi Scott,

Maybe IREX shouldn't answer questions EleMail didn't asked.
But don't you think EleMail should be more flexible and ignored them?
The fact it doesn't support the protocols IREX proposes make the
conversation between them impossible?

When e-mail comes from Internet through servers, IREX have the same
behaviour and the conversation works as shown bellow:

* 22:07:32 (64) Inbound connection from 200.164.234.245 at 06/21/06.
] 22:07:37 (64) 220 bsbbs.com.br Internet Rex ESMTP daemon at your service.

] 22:07:37 (64) 250-8BITMIME

# 22:07:37 (64) RCPT TO:

] 22:07:37 (64) 250 ioram{at}bsbbs.com.br Recipient OK.
# 22:07:37 (64) DATA
] 22:07:37 (64) 354 OK; finish message with .
] 22:07:38 (64) 250 Message queued for delivery.
# 22:07:38 (64) QUIT
* 22:07:38 (64) Session ended.

IREX works fine too with other SMTP clients as MS Outlook.

Is it difficult to make changes at EleMail?
Who are the EleBBS coders at the moment? :)

Thanks for your explanation!!

If I'm reading this correctly, IREX is responding to EleMail with code
250 (OK) to requests EleMail didn't ask (and AFAIK, doesn't support at all).

If it was compiled with debugging enabled, you should be able to give it
the /XDEBUGLOG command line parameter.
