RB> Just finished: THE LOST STRADIVARIUS by J. Mead Falkner
My wife plays the violin, and repairs them. At one concert,
where it was centered around a violin she had repaired that was
made by a local instrument maker, a couple from the audience
approached her to repair a violin. They said it said
Stradivarius on the label inside. And it did. And it was an
authentic German made Stradivarius. I know cause the label said
Made in Germany. It said it in English. For a violin maker from
Italy that was quite interesting.
Apparently Stradivarius is a generic name now. Like Websters.
