A friend of mine has a C 619, H 32, S 63 (= 638.9 MB)
harddisk which after a Windows95 crash it is detected
by BIOS setup, but consider 0% used (no partions) by
FDISK.
DOS doesn't show the disk at all, instead C: is his
old D: harddisk.
I believe either MBR, partiontable or Boot has been
damaged. The disk is supposed to be used 100% by a
FAT16 (primary) partion.
The disk contains data and software my friend feels
that he can't loose.
We therefore seek information what to do.
Can we just copy MBR, boot and partiontable from
another W95 computer?
Can INT 13h/2 read an unpartioned disk, or do I need
to use another function?
