As a matter of fact, sofar I have not found a problem using a Win3.1
compatible version of any program that I or my extended family needs. When
it comes to ultimately replace computer HARDWARE, only THEN would I consider
moving along to W95.

Like what? If it's a game, don't bother saying anything. I despise the
justification of W95 for the sake of running a game.

2 different OS's are not a problem for me, personally. I have worked in
Win3.1, VAX, and various flavours of unix at ONE workplace. Regarding using
a system a home, I wouldn't base my selection on what is used at work. If
my job would require that I use the same software at home, then I would
expect the employer to supply it. Otherwise, I tell them, "yes, I have a
computer at home, but it is not compatible with the products you use."
People shouldn't be taking their work home with them anyway.

Oh.. I'm not worried about FileManager. I rarely use it anyway. Thanks for
the tip though; I am sure others can make use of it.
