Sometimes (the vast majority of times) those of us in the middle of the
desert are the last to hear what is going on in the world. Last weeks Sunday
paper announcing the death of President Truman was simply crushing. So I
am not surprised that Tori Amos has slipped right by us and out to the coast.
Do you have any of her CDs? Are they well recorded (my ears perk up when I
see
the word minimalist)? How do they match up to her live performances? What
type
of music is she known for? Something like Enya? .. October Project? .. Easy
Jazz? .. New Age?
Still fine tuning my systemand burning in my sub, but the addition of the
powered sub with the Focus three 12s on either side, and complete realignment
of the room, I now should qualify for a slot pretty close to "bass pig"
recognition. I know I have my neighbors votes.
Cheers, John
