yup, solved it by simply typing cscript my.js args et voila

It would have to be a script which can (a) call & use java as part of
the certification must be against various java xml validating parsers &
(b) it would have to be cross platform as it has to run on large unix boxes
& linx & possibly mac osx as well as various win variants.
