Thanks for answering that question about Pedi-cabs, I've been wracking
my brain trying to figure that one out. Where ARE you anyway? I've
been around a lot of the U.S. and I've never seen anything like this.
It must keep you in shape - healthy I mean. My husband just had a
heart attack and reading your post I couldn't help but think that you
probably never will, doing all that peddling.
.
Thanks for sharing what you did once you got clean and sober. I've
said this to others here; however, I'll say it again. I love to hear
what people do with their lives once they get clean and sober - it's a
power of example to me. In my case, I married a person who is also
sober and who works for a living and is a darn decent guy - unlike the
fellow-losers I hooked up with while active and in early sobriety. I
even - much to my shock and amazement - joined a church and got
involved in it. (FOR ME only, I know it's not everybody's thing
either) And as a result of these two facts I'm doing things I never
thought I could do before. My Dad has cancer and my husband is slowly
recovering from a heart attack - and I am able to be there for them,
not to be drinking or drugging somewhere gathering free drinks or drugs
perhaps on their story and their sorrow.
.
To me YET - You're Eligible Too - is useful for Sobriety and the good
things we don't YET have in life but want, as well as for the bad stuff
that will happen if we drink or drug. Your business sounds like one of
the positive YETS I so like to hear. I find them very encouraging. I
believe most people can attain these kinds of things, according to
their Higher Powers' "will" for them or fate or whatever, if they are
willing to prepare for them, work for them and follow whatever
inspiration they receive in the 11th step. Thanks for sharing. This
kind of stuff is always encouraging to me.
