REGEDT32 is gone from current releases of Windows. It is just a stub =
that invokes REGEDIT. I think it was Windows 2000 where this happened =
though it could have been Windows XP. I'm leaning toward Windows 2000.
I've not used a third party tool. There are command line tools that =
are sometimes more useful. REG.EXE is in Windows XP and latter. REGINI =
and REGDMP are formerly internal tools. REGINI is included in Windows =
now. REGDMP may be in the DDK. I use it because its older and I'm =
accustomed to it. REG provides the same or similar functionality.
