PM> Use map mode. One of them is near the room which has the rats PM> hanging over the shark soup. PM> The other one is near the train station, behind the riot gun. Oh, I know exactly what those do! Those are teleporters you can access in multiplayer mode. Helps get around the levels. PM> First, kill everybody in that area, lest they slow you down. Hit PM> the switch and then run like hell to the large double doors leading to PM> the area with the water pool. There's a small door above the set of PM> box/crates on the right. If you look carefully, you'll see it's a PM> slightly different color. You have only a few seconds to make it. :) Okay, I'll give it a shot! PM> Spoil it for me and I'll kill you. Don't worry, I won't tell you the ending or anything like that. However, I'll probably tell you how the new weapons work and if I encounter any cool new features. --- Maximus 3.01 I've been toying around with a fun idea in my head for awhile. You know how Sega has a "Fighter's Megamix" where the VF2 and Fighting Vipers characters are in one package? I was thinking that you people could try something like that. Basically, it would include Duke Nukem and Lo Wang into a "greatest hits" level collection. Each character would only be able to use their particular weapons and powerups - so you can see just what is more useful, Holodukes or Smoke Bombs, or whether a Shrinker beats out the rail gun. As for the levels, they would be favourite, deathmatch-oriented levels such as LA Rumble and (at least I think so) Zilla Construction. Of course, this creates an interesting problem: RAM needs. You would have to have a lot of sprites and sounds from each. But given the fact that even Shadow Warrior can run on as little as 9 MB of RAM, and it needs 16, that isn't that much of an issue. My only real question is this: who would work on it? I imagine you guys are polarized on either Duke Nukem Forever or Prey (or both!), and I know how much you people would like to get those out. Conversely, this "3DR Megamix" may not take that much effort beyond picking sprites, levels and successfully play-balancing the two heroes. Think of it as a somewhat-easier Plutonium Pak. --- Maximus 3.01 ---------------* Origin: BitByters BBS, Rockland ON, Can. (613)446-7773 v34, (1:163/215) * Origin: BitByters BBS, Rockland ON, Can.
