I'm not arguing with you, just quoting from the Greek text that the AV was
translated from.

You have deleted the other quotations, but the first  _three_ gospels
written used the word ochlos. The general scholarly consensus is that the
gospel of John has had extra words added to by the writer,(both to
descriptions of events and the words of Jesus) and in most cases these
additions would appear to be for political reasons considering the time at
which the gospel was written.
