 She was never depicted as married.  Quite the contrary.  In the 
 first episode, Janeway asked Mark to take her dog out of the 
 kennel and keep the animal at his place because it was expecting 
 puppies. 
 
 In "Threshold", Janeway remarks to Paris that she always 
 supposed that she would have children some day... but not with 
 him. 
 
 The only real change is that in "Hunters", she referred to Mark 
 as her fiance.  Although nothing contradicted this in the past, 
 she had never indicated that they were other than long-term 
 lovers.
