examples in the docs show a .bat or .cmd file for os2 users, which

just a flat text file with some "here's the results of your
search" then whatever the .bat file stuffs into it. I'm thinking
that's where the improper mask format complaint originates, so tried
stuffing a regular netmgr mask there, then an xmask. Both got same
complaint.

Been working outside in my audio truck this afternoon and then had no juice
for 2.5 hours so haven't had a chance to pore over the docs anymore.
