I suppose i'm classed as a hobbyist but i'm skint overdrawn and all that
But I have purchased
                     BCBuilder Standard œ75.00
                     BorlandC++45        œ60.00 ( Student discount )
                     Terminate prof œ30.00 ( I think no reciept )
                     Boxer editor œ30.00 ( I think lost reciept )
With Dos and win 95 ( came with pc )
                     AOL œ6.00 per month
I think the whole argument come's down to ones
concsience I shamefully admit to having played with unlicensed software,
but software I really use I pay for I am all for some scheme for a try
before you buy because I wouldn't have purchased BCBuilder had I tried it
first, I accept the argument that if you can't afford you shouldn't have it
but the problem is with availability none of us would go and nick a
Ferrari just because we couldn't afford it but if there was a magical
machine that copied the same Ferrari in our back room how many would say
 no to copying one ?
I personally do NOT condone any sort of theft but I know so many normally
upstanding citizens with pirate software it makes you think something
 needs sorting out.
ps I'm sorry Bob if this is off topic I won't resort to it again.
