| subject: | Swedish Golfer wins |
On 15 Nov 04 02:04:00, Daryl Stout got back to Danny Ceppa -> Re: Swedish Golfer wins DC>So, who plays miniature golf? DS> If you mean something like "Putt-Putt", I used to when there was a DS> course in the area. There are some minature golf deals around (one DS> named "Gator Golf" comes to mind)...but I play a game called DS> Super-Putt on my Cingular cellphone. :) Some miniture golf courses are too gimicky. And, from what I know of putt-putt, far too boring. There is a course at one of the local real golf courses. IIRC, it plays to over 9,000 inches! It is very educational, too. Each hole is themed on the varied ecologies of Washington State. Besides the bounces and caroms used in miniature golf, there are also slopes on the playing field that work like on a regular putting green that have to be mastered. All in all, I have never had so much fun playing miniature golf! --- OMX/Blue Wave/DOS v2.30* Origin: Soundly on the Fault Line (1:123/666.0) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/666 500 106/2000 633/267 |
