I wonder if I may ask for your comment on a couple of aspects of rain gutters
(btw.. we call them eavestroughs here in Canada).
[1] We have a metal roof. It needs maintenance and would soon need to be
replaced or repainted. The existing sofets (sp) around the house are
pre-painted white (front edge as well as on the underside). In your opinion,
would you match the colour of the eavestrough to the sofets or the to the
color of the roof?
[2] Snow will accumulate and slide off a metal roof when temperatures get
milder. We like the fact that snow doesn't remain on the roof. Our house is
over 25 years old and has never had an eavestrough intallation. But it
really is about time to install them inorder to make entering and exiting the
front door more pleasant when it rains. But I would assume that snow sliding
off the roof would instantly rip off any eavestrough installation. Can you
provide any pointers about installing eavetroughs on homes with metal roofs?
I guess I am way off topic with this one. Perhaps you can suggest another
echo in which you reside and where we could pursue this further?
