I have felt this outraged at times. One day I walked into the local Winns
to look at fish and was appalled at the milky water. This was only the
last incident that ticked me off.
I have never seen much results from complaints. Retail stores seem to be
more interested in stocking shelves than caring for their livestock. So,
instead of gripping, I went to the managed and explained that he needed to
hire someone for the sole purpose of taking care of the living stock in
this store. I told him it would take about 2 hours a day and that I was
the person to do the job.
I didn't need the work and was already too busy.  He hired me and it
was good to know that I made a difference in the quality of life of
these creatures.
