   Bob,
   I'm getting one called   alt.radio.scanner
   It's pretty active with about 25-40 messages or more a day. Although
   right now there's a major flame war in progress with someone called
   John Mackey, Bill Cheeks and a few other people.
   There's also another scanner conference called  rec.radio.scanner
   I don't know anything about that one. (I access these newsgroups via a
   local BBS and I'm not sure if the BBS carries that second conference.)
