I would like to set up Maximus under Msdos 6.22 to use a tcp/ip port using a packet driver. I remember there was such a shim. Does anyone know of a Msdos 16 bit driver that uses a packet driver to emulate a Com port that could be used by a msdos telecommunications package to talk via tcp/ip or for that matter a Virtual Modem Fossil for a bbs package? I knew there was one but I forgot the name! Its not COM/IP (thats for Windows 9x or later anyway). A URL to such a program would be nice. I want to use it with a standard Msdos 16 bit packet driver such as the Cryware package of drivers. B'ichela ... Ahh wight!
