OK, I counted 8 replies in a week. That's more than the fingers on one
hand  so the echo will stay up. Y'all might want to try to get
some friends out here, if you can. As someone else said, there has been
a great emigration to the Internet from Fidonet. I, too, spend some time
on the Internet. But I don't want to see Fido die either.
I think the problem is that all new computers come packed with Internet
software, and nobody KNOWS about Fido anymore. I don't know if computers
come with old-style communication software anymore. Maybe somebody
should start a campaign in computer stores with free copies of some
shareware comm software...
Anyway, Parrots will continue. Thanks for the encouragement!
