-> DG> Anderson would've been at least half-way smart.. He'll never hit

I'm well aware that you weren't pondering the Anderson signing over his 50
home run season a few years back.. I was simply stating that the hype over it
(from the media) is pointless, because I don't think he'll ever do so again..
But, Brady is still a good player, and Anderson in center and Klesko out of
the outfield is an improvement.. Mind you, I think Klesko out of the lineup
is better (let's face it, whiffs too much, can't even come close to hitting
lefties, weak defensively, reminds me too much of Ken Phelps to be honest of
you).. But they seem hung up on keeping Klesko around, so that won't
ppen...
-> I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone else -- chemistry is a
-> class and has nothing to do with winning. *Professionals* go out and
-> play and they don't worry too much about what happens around them
-> (Which is why the Bulls have won the last two championships despite
-> the so-called distractions). The Dodgers have been a bunch of head
-> cases who lose despite their talent. Let's not forget that around the
-> All-Star break that the Dodgers were making excuses about the lack of
-> chemistry in their multi-cultural clubhouse and yet, that same bunch
-> managed to make a run late in the season. There was no more chemistry
-> by the end of the season as there was at the beginning except the
-> fact that they were winning.
Chemistry is one of the many things that will likely keep the Dodgers from
making a major run for a while.. Lack of strong left-handed pitching hurts,
no left-handed power threat to break up Zeile, Karros, Piazza, Mondesi
doesn't help (I don't think Hollandsworth will ever be good for more than
12-15 a season, definately not the kind of player to stick in between all
those sluggers).. And I still feel Bill Russell is too laid back to really
lead this team...
The Bulls? Ugh UGH UGH!! I still can't help but to consider the Bulls one
player and 11 supporting cast members (and I know this one player thinks of
himself the same way, always has.. After all, REAL team players don't ask for
more money in one year than the entire salary cap, hence keeping the team
from adding other players.....) And as for that DISTRACTION, I find Dennis
Rodman the only entertaining part of that entire team.. The rest of them make
me sick, especially a certain guard with a shaved head, 9 Ferraris and too
many commercial endorsements. Not that I need to name names, but......
Back to the Dodgers.. Do I think they're hopeless?? No. Alot of the puzzle is
definately there.. But these missing pieces: Left-handed starter, left-handed
slugger, center field and leadoff (what else is new??), possibly closer
depending on what happens with either Dreifort (in my opinion the best
candidate), Osuna *cough cough choke choke* (and not from my Capri 120s) or
Radinsky, and manager will keep the Dodgers out of any serious runs in the
playoffs until at least some of them are addressed.. And lesse.. Shortstop??
Oh, wait. Vizcaino.... Might be the best shortstop they've had (offensively
and defensively) in a long long time.....
