have been the case at all. If they plower is driving a semi, large truck,
or a big SUV, his momentum could shove a stopped car into the one in front of
it even if more than the proper distance is maintained. I don't know what
Connecticut [my state] law says, but it's just physics. You can't legislate

I wonder what happens when the cars being hit are legally parked.... That's
happened near here more than once. Then too, some idiots have rammed into
parked houses, stores, and supermarkets.
