Call waiting is so evil.....
-> Fenway Park is one of the best Ball Parks to get to, E Z parking if
-> you the City and such an Historical Place like this would be a shame
-> to follow through with your thoughts. Also, If your recomendations
-> were completed the price of ticket would be out of reach for the
-> average family man with two or more kids.
Anyways, to finish what I was saying on the subject of old stadiums, to tear
down any of the remaining four old stadiums would be a terrible disgrace to
baseball and history...
Let's look at the replacing of two historic arenas in the last few years: the
Boston Garden (I'm a Lakers fan and former Celtics hater, but to me that
arena meant too much to the history of basketball to tear down and replace)
and Chicago Stadium being replaced with the overly commercialized United
Center, not that Bulls and some CERTAIN overrated player don't know about
being overly commercialized... But, too much history for the Blackhawks in
that old arena, and it's now gone too... I may only be 22, but I love the
older stadiums and arenas myself, they have a character and aura in them you
just can't find in these sparkling new, state-of-the-art stadiums...
So, KEEP Fenway Park!! KEEP the Green Monster!! KEEP that funky looking
corner in center field!! KEEP that scoreboard in left!! Do not let
commercialism and big business destroy tradition!
