Well, next time, don't quote everything that was in my message, only the
important thing... and to get to your point.
On Starships, beaming down on away missions does not take credits, but
like Paris did in that science experimentation episode, he did a site
to site transport and replicated flowers for B'Ellana. That would take
credits. On Earth, Cadets in the Academy use Trans credits when they
would beam home if they chose to, but they are given so many, so when
they didn't want to use them, they had to stay is CA. :) And also with
food replicators.... you can eat eat and eat on a normal ship and on
Earth, but when it comes to replicating complicated things like
rings, necklaces.... it would take more than food, so it would cost
a certain amount of credits... on Voyager, they are low on energy, so if
they wanna use their replication (all of them; food, misc) credits they
might end up eating Neelix's food at the end of the week. Understand?
