I read it in high school many years ago, but it left a lasting impression!

I'm not sure whether the major project is Pax Americana / American Empire,
or the destruction of America (from within?) in order to facilitate the
creation of the "revived roman empire" / Pax Europa. Time will tell.

I think Bush will be busier looking for scapegoats than weapons for the
immediate future.
