I would certainly agree based upon the blender we have.  I don't think it
was particularly expensive but it is built like a tank.  Very solid glass
and very solid connection of the pitcher part to the motor part.  Won't
slip and grind the gears so to speak.  It will easily turn ice into stuff
as light as snowflakes.  Sometimes too easily .
