DF>>EJ> If you agree with that, then how
DF>>EJ> can you complain that you only got 4 orders for a font CD ?
DF>>I believe Terri had interest from a lot more people when the price was
DF>>less than $60.
Since I first started sharing my collection, I've sent out around 100
sets.
DF>>EJ> I rarely use the extra fonts that
DF>>EJ> came on my CDROM. I've only had bad experiances with non-Geoworks
DF>>EJ> fonts anyway. I downloaded one of the featured Christmas files AOL
DF>>EJ> had, a Christmas font. I tried it in FontMagick and it crashed the
DF>>EJ> system.
There are a some fonts around and even a few in my collection that are
memory hogs. I've had some that crashed on my 286 w/1meg ram that
worked fine on my 386 w/4meg and some that crashed on the 386 but ran
fine on my 486 w/8meg
DF>>The fonts being offered on CD were of a known source. People who have

DF>>I purchased it because it included a font I needed to match a

Thanks for the kind words. I have really been upset about this whole CD
project. At the beginning, it sounded like a really great idea, having
all the fonts on a CD rather than zipped up on 38 disks. But I, along
with several others have been ripped off. I don't even have a copy of
the CD. I have terminated the agreement and will soon be sharing my
collection once again on floppy disks. Hopefully, one of these days, I
will be able to afford having it put on CD's without a middle man
involved and the CD's will be sent out directly by me.
Terri
