Hi Thom,

About "Topic steering" of February 14:

TL> Y'll have a choice... I'd rather not make that list...
SH> You forgot to mention you are the moderator.
TL> I write so few messages as a moderator, I forgot not only to mention
TL> that, but also didn't put on my shirt with the bullseye on the back.
MS> This short sample of SysOp talk reminded me of when i wrote that it
MS> would be nice to see mister Thom Lacosta sign as moderator (which is
MS> yet to be seen many moons later after i expressed my expectation...
SH> SysOp talk? Where did that notion come from? You might have better
SH> luck with posting a direct note to Thom Lacosta.
MS> When i'll want mister Thom Lacosta to have more than a side-note,
MS> i may consider having him sent more than just that: a side-note.
TL> FYI, I requested that Micel Sampson's write access to this echo be
TL> terminated, and have received confirmation from his SYSOP...

And here's confirmation by myself that i will have no choice but to
comply, as i'm no match in this WarFair against one ordinary BBSer, most
obviously. DOS INet will remain the center of my hobby but i'll monitor
discussions elsewhere (`RIME-DOS' or `Fido-Alt DOS'), that's all (unless
i'm followed there by systematic objectors you'll protect again)! Thom,
i notice you can't spell my name right, euh... It's *MICHEL SAMSON*, as
in the "From" field above: i only use ONE IDENTITY, there's no other so
please call me by the name i was given at birth by my parents, if that's
not too much asking, euh... Oh, and finally... You signed as moderator
a bit late after Gary Gilmore's departure of January 20, 2002 but you do
seem to take my request in consideration so thanks, and what a punch!...

                                  %-b,

Thanks also for answering to Steven's question for me: i guess you
couldn't have illustrated in a better way what "SysOp talk" means! This
tells me what "LoggerHeads" must stand for as well, i guess... Tourlou!

                                    Salutations,

                                    Michel Samson

... Sometimes, the cost of new features is too high, really! Is it not?
