I did have a talk with the battery-mechanic at Saab when I was working there a couple of years ago and he said that to fully charge a battery takes 24 h. The first 12 is to prepare the ions so they turn properly to accept charging and the next 12 is for charging so what he said in the article about 30 mins. isn't quite the truth. Just to operate the engine starter when having it on a table took 120 A so the battery must really be good to operate it mounted in car where it even have to rotate the motor. //Bj”rn ---* Origin: .
