Yet more people of color die from it for lack of medical attention. I had a malignant melanoma on my back in 1979 but caught the change in the mole very early and had it cut off in a office visit for next to nothing. Leaving for another state the next day and asked by the doctor if he wanted them lab checked I declined citing my knowledge of my outlook if it had metasticised. He did the lab anyway. returning to Florida almost two years later I saw the doctor for a respiratory problem and he advised me I'd called the melanoma correctly. Uncharacteristic of me to go to doctors unless circumstances are dire I went that time and luck was with me. Had I ignored it I'd have been dead in a year. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
