subject: recovering chkdsk create

I recently had a power surge/outage that left me with a bunch of files
and directories created when chkdsk was run upon reboot. Can they
be saved and, if so, is there a trick to it? I copied some of them
into another directory with no problem but on subsequent chkdsk and/or
reboot they were once again put into a chkdsk (FOUNDxx) directory.
Perhaps some attribute needs to be (re)set? I'm Using Warp 4, fp9. TIA

Peyton
