McLaren-Hondas won four Constructors championship from 1988 to 1991 and
Ayrton Senna won three world championships driving them in the same period.
 I also found it surprising that in 1987 Piquet won the driving
championship in 1987 driving a Williams-Honda, that Mansell was second,
also in a Williams-Honda, and that Senna was third in a Lotus-Honda.

With slightly different sheet metal and an even more powerfulo engine, my
Honda is also sold as an Acura TL.  And remember that North America is
where the biggest market is.  Regrettably Europe is still a sideshow.

How about Porsche and Jaguar.

The statistics gathered by Consumers Union indicate that for the most part
the Japanese cars have a better frequency of repair rating.
