True.  It's not heard of often because the incidence of breast cancer is much
more rare in men, the survival rate is very bad for men.  The reason is chocked
up to women knowing to check and early identification.  Men have a larger death
rate because they ignore it until it is too late.

The survival rates are the same between men and women based on identification
stages (early or late).  Its just that men tend to identify it when it has
metastisized while women find it earlier and more easily treated.
