Greetings, Ld!!
While you were muttering to Tom Mckeever, , you spake thusly:
LW> Hello Tom and all; sorry not to let you know sooner that I am still very
LW> much enjoying the echo, sure have been busy and sometimes fatigued :-(
Why is it we ALL seem to "know the feeling"??
LW> Because of the many posts on the echo, I have come to terms with the
LW> fatigue of PPS and to the large part deal with it pretty sucessfully
LW> now. Proper rest has allowed me, most of the time, to feel better than
LW> I ever thought I would again. THANKS to all who have given a great deal
LW> of insight as to how to best deal with the situations we find ourselves
LW> in because of PPS!
Great!! - That's what we're all about!!
LW> Bob, I am still working as a Reserve Investigator at the Parker County
LW> Sheriff's Office; although I have cut my hours back some, I still enjoy
LW> it very much. Hope you are still doing so in Oklahoma.
Bob Lantrip (Our Co-Moderator), is whom I assume you are referring to.
He is in LE, as well.. I am involved somewhat in Security, as well, and
am a node/Hub for POLICENET, as well..
LW> Ann Cook I see your posts frequently, sounds like you are doing well!
LW> Are you completely settled in your new home?
LW> I recently subscribed to an I'net connection, but feel I have learned a
LW> lot more from the PPS echo and almost feel like I have met most of the
LW> regulars here. Keep up the good work.
We've had some difficult times lately on both ALT.SUPPORT.POST-POLIO and
the POLIO List-Server because of an infusion of pure GARBAGE from
ALT.TASTLESS, and some unmoderated, inconsiderate cross-postings even
from ASP-P.. :-((( - Got so bad that Bob Mauro, the list Moderator just
quit the job in disgust and pain..
LW> We are enjoying the first really cool weather of the season now, (I sure
LW> don't care for the hot temps) but with it came an elevated ragweed
LW> pollen count, so am mostly staying indoors as ragweed bothers me more
LW> than anything else I know of.
Please ship us some COOL weather (sans Ragweed) down HERE, LD!!
LW> Tom, I hope Luis passes well to the east of you and you don't have the
LW> problem of no electricity again.
Yup - We "prayed it away". I think!! .. 2 big storms coming ashore
within 40 miles of us this year was quite ENOUGH, thank you!! :-)
Take care!!
Tom..
