She's current with virus protection, ad aware, spyware blaster, etc. No =
known problems. I guess I'll download rootkit revealer and run it on = her
machine. Its not a trojan that's disabling simple networking. I = disable
it, because I find when its enabled its anything but simple. = One of the
things that brought this to my mind again was that just in = the past
couple of days, I went to print to a printer attached to her = computer

print. Got error messages. Couldn't figure out why, until I = noticed
that simple networking had been turned back on. Turned it off, = and I
could see, connect to, and print to her printer immediately = thereafter.

I can't imagine why the drag would change byself. Maybe someone is =
changing something that includes it like whether to optimize for best =
appearance or best performance.

I would be concerned if simple networking is disabled that you have =
some trojan that is disabling it so that it can authenticate over the =
network. Look to see if there are any user accounts you did not create =
or if you have passwords on any of your own accounts.

I have set my wife's computer XP Pro SP2, to do a full window drag =
instead of the outline of the window several times. It keeps getting =
turned off. My wife says she isn't changing it. Simple Networking = keeps
getting turned back on once in a while also. Again, my wife says = she
isn't doing it.

Does this kind of thing happen with anybody else?
