Hello! I was given the rough plan for a dual-band antenna by Wayne Sarosi 3
years ago. Well, I finally got around to building it, and it tunes really
good at 134.5Mhz!
Let me describe it for you. It is a 1/4 wave(2M) then a 1/4wave matching
section, then another 1/4wave(2M). Next is a 1/4 wave (440) matching section,
next is a 1/4 wave(440) with a 1/4 wave matching section, topped off by a 1/4
wave section (440).
How in the heck do I adjust this critter!! All this works over a 2 meter
radial section with them bent at 45 degrees to match the impedance to around
50 ohms.
It was described as "a double quarterwave and a double three quarter wave on
70cm and a double quarter wave on 2 m".
Do my matching stubs need to be a total of 1/4 wave? or 1/4 wave long from
base to the bend.
This ought to keep us busy for a while!! :-)
Thanks for any help!
