I've been saying if they don't straighten up their act and get rid of the
in-your-face copy protection and activation crap they are going to knock
themselves out of the market.

You can only fool some of the people, and some of those will learn over
time so you end up with ever less and less.

The really funny part is I tell people XP is evil don't run it (and I
explain that I run W2K instead). Many of them don't listen and go with XP
anyway, then 6 months later they come back and tell me I was right.

Take Monte's recent post about trying to reinstall XP and it couldn't find
the previous install, how many times have I mentioned that flaw here? Well
now Monte knows, you can't deny the flaws forever (not that Monte denied
it) because you will get burned sooner or later.
