This wasn't possible in 1970. 350 rods with small rod bolts were like hens
teeth since they were only used one year and were 3 years old then.
Had I thought about it instead of taking the parts counter guy at the Chevy
dealer at his word, maybe 327 rod bolts would have worked, but since the rod
I had wasn't any good and there was already a rod with 3/8 bolts on that
throw, what the hell. Go with the flow.
