Mulling over LEE LOFASO to STEVE ASHER 04 Jun 2004 G'day Lee... SA>The "sources close to the Bush administration" seem SA>to have been right about the resignation of Tenet. SA>Time will tell if they are correct about Powell SA>and Armitage. LL> If this story is accurate, it means America is very close LL> to having a coup d'etat. The last time such an event almost LL> occurred was in 1865, when Abraham Lincoln was assassinated. Not LL> only was Lincoln assassinated, but the Secretary of State was also LL> mortally wounded. The only thing that prevented the coup from LL> succeeding was that Andrew Johnson was not at the location he was LL> supposed to be, thus foiling the plot. I have not yet found anything to substantiate it, or refute it, but it sure looks like Bush will have to go, dead or alive. If I were him, I'd be avoiding grassy knolls, the main drag of Dallas, tunnels in Paris, people with brollies on bridges in London. Is insanity a grounds for removing a President? Apparently Bush is calling people who disagree with him "fucking assholes", and tells his aides to "fuck over" anyone who disagrees with him. Apparently Tenet was forced to resign, with Bush telling him "I cannot abide disloyalty. I want your resignation and I want it now." Barking mad! SA>--------------------------------------------------- SA>Tenet, Powell and Armitage to go - EXCLUSIVE SA>25th May 2004 - Update SA>by Simon Aronowitz SA>Sources close to the Bush administration have informed SA>ThoughtCrimeNews that CIA Director, George Tenet, Secretary of State, SA>Colin Powell and Deputy Secretary of State, Richard Armitage, will be SA>forced to resign their positions, possibly before the end of this SA>week. SA>Whilst some would consider Tenet, Powell and Armitage to be team SA>players in George W Bush's administration, our sources advise us that SA>in fact these three have been caught out on something for which there SA>can be no reconciliation. SA>As yet, the media are largely unaware of the recent events involving SA>these three characters, namely a plot to assassinate President Bush SA>and Vice-President Cheney as well as Speaker of the House, J Dennis SA>Hastert and Senate President Pro Tempore, Ted Stevens. In the event SA>that these four individuals were to be killed, the next in line to SA>the US Presidency would be none other than the Secretary of State, SA>currently Colin Powell. LL> Gotta look past Tenet/Powell/Armitage to understand the plot. SA>Should these resignations take place, as we expect, in the coming SA>days, the pre-emptive publication of this story will serve to SA>illustrate that our sources have provided us with sound information, SA>not only of the impending departures but also the reason for them. SA>Story developing... SA>Source: ThoughtCrimeNews - http://www.thoughtcrimenews.com/may-25-04.htm LL> With the House of Bush crumbling, Bush has to find a way to get LL> past the election this coming November. Folks are upset at the LL> high cost of gasoline, the ever-increasing cost of groceries and LL> other items, lack of job security, etc. And folks are also upset LL> that so many of our soldiers are dying in the killing fields of LL> Iraq. Also, folks are peeved that Osama bin Laden and those LL> responsible for the events of 9-11 remain free and at large. LL> The only way left for Bush to win the election is by causing a LL> diversion. IOW, an "October Surprise". I suspect the "surprise" will take place in June; maybe during the G8 meeting in Georgia? Maybe an invasion of Venezuela or Iran? Apparently it is unusual for the US to deploy 7 aircraft carrier strike groups, but is doing so to test its ability to operate in 5 theatres with other allied & coalition forces. =================================================================== Seven Carrier Strike Groups Underway for Exercise "Summer Pulse 04" Story Number: NNS040603-02 Release Date: 6/3/2004 11:40:00 AM Special release from the U.S. Department of Defense WASHINGTON (NNS) -- The Department of Defense announced June 2 that this summer, simultaneous deployment of seven aircraft carrier strike groups (CSGs) will demonstrate the ability of the Navy to provide credible combat power across the globe by operating in five theaters with other U.S., allied and coalition military forces. "Summer Pulse 04" will be the NavyAEs first exercise of its new operational construct, the Fleet Response Plan (FRP). FRP is about new ways of operating, training, manning, and maintaining the fleet that results in increased force readiness and the ability to provide significant combat power to the President in response to a national emergency or crisis. Beginning this week and continuing through August, the Navy will exercise the full range of skills involved in simultaneously deploying and employing carrier strike groups around the world. Summer Pulse 04 will include scheduled deployments, surge operations, joint and international exercises, and other advanced training and port visits.
