WEll when the driver of the Firebird realized he was no longer being
followed he would have slowed down, besides its pointless to try to
catch it, if it ever gets to open road you wont be able to out run it.
And finialy, when the firebird and the 5 police cars cut stright
accross a highway and the median, having a high speed chase through a
residental neighboorhood, dont you think alot of lives were in danger?
