They shoudl quaify their statement with "As far as we know"

This brings to midn what we learn about history. When I was growing up
you'd think there was only ONE cradle of civilization and all came
from there. Nope.

*((think: Mayan empire; Inca Empire, empires of China, Japan, Africa..
all going on about the same time as that empire/culture we were led to
believe was the first and only as it were.)
