        THE UNIVERSE: TREK is a non-profit fanzine that publishes Star
 Trek fan fiction.
        We focus on the adventures of other ships and other crews within
 the Star Trek universe.
        In this sub and other places we hear many opinions about what
 makes a good episode of Star Trek.  In THE UNIVERSE: TREK we put
 these opinions into action by writing Trek stories.  We provide a
 spectrum of opinion about what makes a good Trek story by printing each
 person's view as written in a story.
