Hi Jeff!  Wayne told me how to use a j-pole as the driven element on a yagi.
Just keep the matching stub below the reflector and the directors and it will 
work great! He claims that if you point the matching stub in the same 
direction as the other elements, It will add more gain in trasmit and 
ecieve.
Gotta try it sometime!
