JP :> Sure was scary!!! Now he's running all over the place
JP :>like a 2yr old
Glad to hear it! Ms. Fiddle and her partner in crime, Shiloh, decided to
knock down a few fence rails yesterday and indulge themselves in some nice,
very green grass in the front paddock. I came home from work to find them
there knee deep in grass. Needless to say, I was scared to death that I'd
have either colic or founder on my hands. However, all seems well this a.m.,
so I'm hoping for the best. The paddock they have been in all year does have
some grass, so I'm hoping they had had enough that this won't be too much of
a shock to their systems. I tell ya...it never ends with horses!!
This was the paddock that we spent two weekends on liming, manuring, picking
rocks and seeding. They didn't tear it up at all, thank God! I probably
would have done them in if they had, after all that work! Now, poor Richard
(aka post hole digger!) has to replace a whole line of fence......he was
planning on doing it little by little over the summer, but I think his
schedule will have to be moved up. He insists on doing it himself, by
hand...I think he's nuts!
