If that's a traditional clock and watchmaker, they might have a lathe good
small enough to turn a new screw, if they can work out its dimensions.
OTOH, maybe a polite e-mail to Palm would be in order...

They might be going for ones that are out of copyright, to avoid costs. I
didn't realise there were quite so many versions, though. I should have
thought a complete version would be a major undertaking.

like quite an old-fashioned children's book
