Because it's such a needless, stupid tragedy.

Some asshole ambushed the four cops, killing all four of them.
I keep wondering, why?

With a few exceptions, police officers do an incredible job, I've seen
videos of cops remaining calm and collected, while the guy they are
busting for whatever, is off their nut, screaming and cussing. And
trying to hurt the cop.

If it is this guy Clemmons who killed the cops, no clemency this time.
Life, no parole in a teeny cell.

If it wasn't Clemmons, same sentence for the shooter.

I just learned after posting the above, who is the asshole who gave
Clemmons clemency in Arkansas, despite Clemmons' violent history.

No, not Stan's favorite whipping boy.
