I would agree except it did it three times in a row. I think static
discharge would have been bled off in one attempt.

I would agree that that is the next step but it seems like I must have a
sneak circuit somewhere. The battery is in a plastic pan so it doesn't
seem like it could be leaking through the case. I am going to try taking
the battery out of the car next. I will let you folks know the end of
this mystery when I learn it.
