Meke sure he is State Licenced and Bonded. Get all the approprate
nformation
UP front uncase there is a problem. While it is not a sure fire quality check
call the BBB and ask about them Before signing any contract. They of course
only keep files on their Members so it is no indication because they don't
have a complaint file that the contractor is alright.
Incidently I loked arround and found a Friend that does casual roofing work,
But I didn't have a steep pitch roof but it was Fiberglass shingles. We
doneit ourselves, Him as Roofer and me as Helper. I wanted to quit
halfway through. That was KLIIER work for a soft 60 year old. :-) :-)
That was 5 years ago and have had no problems since. But that is an outside
gamble.
