Thanks very much for the info on the early Fokkers. I think it was in a 
Fokker that Knute Rockne, famous coach of Notre Dame football met his death 
when a wing came off during a thunderstorm over Kansas. This spelled the end 
of the wood wing Fokkers in US commercial service and paved the way for the 
all-metal Ford Tri-motor. Carrier in thta Accident was a predesesor of TWA.
