Well you assumed incorrectly, I was trying to understand. John Beckett =
was kind enough to provide an answer, which has led me to another =
question (not necessarily for you as you seem to show no signs of =
changing based upon your statements below).
Why isn't providing security and cleaning up memory stuff and garbage =
collection part of the operating system itself?? Why does the operating =
system need a software box to encapsulate these abilities for programs =
running inside the box?
