   Are you referring to java the language, java the class library, java =
the vm, or something else sun assigns this brand name?

   java the language is supported by the .NET Framework along with C++, =
C#, VB, and a host of others.  That sun's java the class library or = sun's
java the vm isn't well suited for other languages reflects poorly = on it
not the other languages.
